“On the water, my philosophy is centered on true partnership. Together, we work as a team to create exceptional angling opportunities, paired with a first-class culinary experience to deliver an unforgettable day on the river.”
About me
Born and raised in the heart of Puyehue, my life has been shaped by the rivers, lakes, and untamed mountains of Northern Patagonia. Long before founding Puyehue Fly Fishing, my background in technical mountaineering, backcountry skiing, and freediving forged a deep commitment to safety, risk management, and environmental awareness.
My background as an English teacher and translator, combined with fluency in French, allows me to connect seamlessly with discerning anglers from all over the world without cultural or language barriers.
Years spent spearfishing gave me a rare, firsthand perspective of life beneath the surface. Observing how fish move, hold, and react to subtle stimuli completely transformed my approach to angling. Today, I bring that insight directly to the tying vise, meticulously crafting custom flies tailored to our local waters and clients.
For me, a perfect day on the water extends far beyond the catch. It is about the complete experience—genuine connection, seamless teamwork, and uncompromising attention to detail. From precise fly selection to a riverside gourmet lunch featuring local cuisine, fine wines, and the peace of mind that comes from being guided by a true local.
